Encouraged strongly by her family, Eileen started playing percussion at 8 years of age. While continuously playing throughout her school years, Eileen also participated in various musical organizations such as clinics and marching bands.
After HS, she spent two years as a music major in Northern Virginia before enlisting in the US Army as a percussionist in 1986. While in the service, she traveled throughout Europe before joining the 82nd Airbourne Division Band, when they deployed overseas for 6 months during Desert Storm.
After returning from the service, Eileen studied with local teachers and at the Drummers Collective in NYC. During the past ten years, Eileen has performed with numerous Blues bands, including Little Buster and the Soul Brothers.
In 1997, Eileen hooked up with the Kerry Kearney Band and their "little steamroller" has been with them ever since.
